Mavere Tukai is supply chain expert with local and international experience for over 20 years. He is vastly experienced in designing, planning, implementing, and monitoring health supply chain systems. Mr. Tukai is a pharmacist licensed in Tanzania, Pharmaceutical Management System expert acquired through MSc Course in Pharmaceutical Services and Medicines Control and a Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) professional registered (charter holder) under the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies (CIPS), UK.
Since 2003, Mavere has been providing leadership, operational oversight and technical guidance to developing countries’ health supply chain management systems with special focus on assessing, reviewing, developing strategic plans, business plans and monitoring the implem
entation of supply chain interventions.
At global level; between 2011 and 2016, Mr. Tukai was a lead person in supply chain technical assistance for the USAID funded Systems for Improved Access to Pharmaceuticals and Services (SIAPS), based in Washington DC. Since 2016, Mavere has been a Chief of Party for the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Technical Assistance Program (GHSC TA TZ) providing overall leadership in support to the Government of Tanzania (GoT) technical assistance to strengthen health supply chain system.
